Kickstarter Campaign 69%
Hey Bagels,
I just got back from the kitchen and rolled over 800 bagels and bialy’s for a pop & drop at the Woodinville Bodega this weekend (I’ll be there from 11 - 1pm and have a lot of extras if you wanna pop by).
I came home starving and thirsty. So I made a green drink, and am now devouring an everything bagel with green onion shmear. Yesterday’s bake was so great. The bagels were crisp and stood up proud, with a soft interior…I’m really getting the hang of this thing!
The Kickstarter is coming along! We are at 69%, but with only 16 days to go, we might not meet our $50,000 goal. So many of you have pledged so far. I’m so grateful. I even added a new pledge level, as folks were asking for a 2 dozen a month level. It’s a big ask, but if we only had 16 folks pledge at that level the campaign would be complete!
In any case, even if you can’t pledge, your continued support by showing up to popups, preordering, and eventually visiting the new shop is more than enough.

This dandy over here is the oven we’re raising money to cover. It’s called a rotating rack oven. What it does, is allow our bakers to put a whole baker’s rack full of bagels at once into the oven. Then, it slowly rotates, creating a gentle and even flow (like convection), through all levels of the oven. This will allow for a more even, predictable and consistent bake.
