Hey Bagel Kickstarter Campaign

Hey Bagels,

Things are moving along at a steady clip for the University Village shop. As you might have noticed, we’ve done some rebranding to make a more quirky and friendly vibe. The overall architecture and look is designed, and we are currently in the permitting process (which can take a while). Fortunately the space we’re taking over (Brandy Melville) will be moving to their new space sooner than expected, which only helps us. We’re on target for a November opening (nothing says Thanksgiving like bagels, am I right???).

Which brings me to a big and uncomfortable ask. To allow Hey Bagel to flourish quickly, we are looking to defray the large costs for equipment. We have put together a Kickstarter campaign to help raise the necessary funds.

As you might know, Kickstarter is an all or nothing platform. Meaning if we don’t reach our goal we don’t receive the funds. Therefore, I’ve set a lower goal. In a dream world, everyone on my list would contribute a minimum of $50, but honest to goodness, I’d be thrilled with any level your comfortable with…just as I’ve been so flattered with your continued support. I’ve put together a bunch of fun rewards which I hope you will like, and … I guess find “rewarding.”
