Never Fear, Bagels WILL be here

Hey Bagels,

So, the end of November is upon us. I hope most of you have your power back. I live in Sammamish, and boy howdy…that was a storm. So many trees down, days without power. The PSE crew has worked so had. Now, Thanksgiving is just a few days away.

I had hoped…all things being perfect, that we’d be able to open this week. Then some minor delays happened and I was shooting for December 2nd. Well, the good news is that we’ve passed all our inspections, and COULD begin test baking and training.

Unfortunately there are some hiccups…as would be expected. When the technician lit the oven for the first time, we discovered that the gas pressure wasn’t sufficient. It’s a bummer, but only a set back. The shopping center and I are working together for a solution.

Some other minor late-game issues have also been discovered. Sooooooo…at this point I don’t have a date to open. I still expect early December, and I’ll for sure let you all know Fingers crossed!!
